Embark in a new adventure through play and friendship.
Spark is where learners develop independence and responsibility. They discover and learn to be unique, curious and independent through play.
Spark Learners
Embrace Montessori work and Spark Play to learn real-life skills and develop the independence, focus, and kindness needed to enter an Acton Elementary Studio — each prepared to discover a calling that will change the world.
Learners explore through real life experiences topics that range from science, geography to cooking and other interesting topics.
Hands-on Projects
Pumas learn how to set and achieve their goals, as well as holding each other accountable to reach their goals.
Goals and Accountability
Practical Life
Pumas develop skills when handling on their own real life materials, such as glass, ceramic and more!
Learning to read, to write, communicate in English and do math
A block of morning time dedicated to Free Play and Quiet Play, is followed by a block of time for trips to the park, Make-Believe Playtime and Spark Play, which is inspired on Aji Play, with the involvement of older Sheepdog learners serving as Apprentice Guides.
The basic rules by which this studio manages itself are:
I care for myself;
I care for others;
I care for the environment;
I tell the truth.
