“You must unlearn what you have learned”
Never an expert, always a guide
In Tinkuy there are no teachers. Children do not learn "from" adults, but with them.
Our guides and mentors inspire, equip, and challenge learners. They ask powerful questions, uphold high standards, and create an environment where responsibility and excellence thrive.
Guides are on their own Hero’s Journey. As part of that commitment, they make clear promises to every Puma, modeling integrity, courage, and lifelong learning.
Guide-Hero Contract Example
As a Guide, I promise to:
Fulfill the promises Tinkuy has made to you and your family.
Give you challenges, goals, rewards and limits to inspire and equip you.
Present you with processes, frameworks, examples, recipes and tough questions to use as you see fit.
Let you learn from failure and face the natural consequences, when necessary.
Guard your safety in our Studio and support the Honor Code.
